A-Z
of Symptoms and their treatment
Colds &
Flus: Use equal parts of echinacea, golden seal
(only from sustainable sources as is becoming extinct
in the wild), and ginger powders. These three herbs
together help in alleviating the symptoms of colds &
flus, and can knock them out at the early stages if
taken at the first sign off any symptoms. Take periodically
also to prevent yourself getting ill if everyone else
around you is! Take one 1/2 teaspoon of the formula
3-4 times a day until symptoms disappear.
Ear ache:
Mullein flower oil, garlic oil, and echinacea oil
are the most effective at relieving ear pain. They are
anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, and decongestant in effect.
See medicine making section on how to make an infused
oil. The oil is best warmed before putting in the ear.
Do this by putting a teaspoon in boiling water for a
few seconds, squirt the oil into the teaspoon from a
dropper, and then quickly such it back up into the dropper.
The oil is now warmed. Put 5-10 drops of oil in the
ear, whilst the head is tilted to one side. Put cotton
wool in the affected ear to stop it dripping back out.
Repeat this every hour with acute pain, throughout the
day, until the symptoms have gone.
Upset stomach:
Equal parts of slippery elm and ginger powders. This
will help stimulate digestion, aid in assimilation and
relieve nausea and clear gas in the digestive system.
Take one 1/2 teaspoon as needed with a little water
or mixed with honey.
