wonderful book on the practical side of herbal medicine.
How to make lotions and potions and creams etc. from
readily available ingredients that you would have in
your kitchen.
"Childbearing

by Susan Weed, published by Ash Tree Publishing ISBN
0-9614620-0-0, first published 1986. This is the book
I recommend to all pregnant women and it shows us how
herbs can support the natural functions of pregnancy
and childbirth in such a way that we are empowered to
take responsibility for our own well-being. It has many
valuable insights as well as highly useable information.

first comprehensive encyclopaedia of herbs of its time
and it still retains the teaching of the older herbalists
whilst its information now is still valid and a heroic
piece of work with recipes, botany, history, cultivation,
and botanical line drawings.

and self-care suggestions. This is a seriously informative
book.
